First I want to say one size doesn't fit all. Which means it's entirely possible that Mailerlite is not for you. I've used (and worked with clients) many different email and website platforms. At their core there is a lot of similarity (which is why I can pick up most). I've tried all-in-one platforms and just haven't got on with them so now I use Mailerlite and Membervault (another blog for that).
Here are my top 3 reasons why I love Mailerlite
It is brilliant if you are just getting started. They still have amazing functionality in their free version. MailerLite's free plan is perfect for small businesses and beginners, offering plenty of features for up to 1,000 subscribers and 12,000 monthly emails.
Key features of the free version are the intuitive drag & drop editor, an email automation builder, and the ability to create websites and up to 10 landing pages. Users can also take advantage of comparative reporting and a variety of signup forms and pop-ups to grow their subscriber list.
This is plenty to get started and I love that it includes one website!
The paid version is incredibly priced and continues to be as you grow. Plus the increase in functionality is great. I think there's so much focus on the free option that the relatively low cost option gets lost.
For growing businesses, MailerLite offers a plan starting at $9 per month for 500 subscribers, featuring unlimited monthly emails and access for up to three users. This plan includes all the features of the free version, plus the ability to sell digital products, access to unlimited templates, dynamic emails, and auto resend campaigns. Additionally, it offers unlimited websites and blogs, an unsubscribe page builder, and multivariate testing for advanced email optimisation (please don't drop off at this stage, I always say you start where you are). 24/7 email support ensures you have the help you need to make the most of these powerful tools.
One of my favourite things is you can use your own custom domain which showcases your brand so much more. And yes, you can take payments on your landing page, which is ace
Three
It has great "how-to" guides with a mix of video and written step by step text. Whenever you get a bit stuck or have a question you can usually find a solution. There's also a university training program thing that you can access should you want to go deeper.
I totally get the appeal of all-in-one and other email systems, however I've come and gone from Mailerlite and (for now as I never say never) I'm putting my eggs in the Mailerlite basket. I'm even building my website on Mailerlite! (always a work in progress).
And if you want help with Mailerlite (or any other system) please do get in touch.
